ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY, 11th AUGUST, 2024

1.	Sunday, 11th August, is the 19th Sunday of the Year and also Prison Ministry Sunday. The Liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be led by the Samaritan Community. Prison Ministry Volunteers will be making collection outside the church after each Mass. The PPC Meeting will be held this Sunday, at 10:30 a.m.  Members please be present. Thursday, 15th August is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - A day of Obligation. Masses will be as on Sunday including the evening Mass which will be at 6 p.m.   The Liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be led by CWF/Finance/Media Team. Kindly note that Mass at St. Anthony’s Chapel will be at 9.00 a.m. instead of 8.30 a.m. It also marks the completion of 77 years of India’s Independence. You are encouraged to join the Flag hoisting celebration in neighbouring St. Mary’s Schools. SSC at 8 a.m. & ICSE at 8:30 a.m. Next Sunday, 18th August, is observed as Justice Sunday. Liturgy at the 9:30 a.m. Mass will be led by the Youth.
2.	The Bombay Catholic Sabha is organizing UNITY JOB FAIR on Saturday, 17th August, 2024, which is free for candidates looking for job. Please see the Notice Board for details.
3.	The Family Cell of St. Blaise Church, Amboli, is calling all widows, widowers, the annulled, and the Singles for a social meet to help them find love and companionship, on 18th August 2024.  Please see the Notice Board for further details.
4.	The Diocesan Vocation Service Centre of the Archdiocese of Bombay (Bible Commission) Is organising ·      ONE DAY BIBLE STUDY (ODBS) for youth on 15th August 2024.  All those interested youth from the age of 16 to 35 can register themselves at the parish office or contact the Bible Committee office.  ·      QUEST programme for boys and girls who are interested in priesthood and religious life. This programme is on 15th August 2024 at the Goregaon Seminary. ·      For details look up the notice board.

Please see the Notice Board  for information on various events in the Archdiocese: ·      The Goan Cultural Association of Rosary Parish, Dockyard is celebrating World Goa Day on Sunday 18th August 2024. There will be a thanksgiving mass at 10.00 a.m. followed by cultural programme.   Passes available at Rosary Church Office.
